Service Description
Lyra, also known as aerial hoop, is a classic aerial art form that alchemizes the strength and athleticism of conventional sports with the grace, flexibility, and intuitive expression of dance. With roots in circus heritage and historical aerial gymnastics, lyra has inspired individuals from all walks of life to both literally and metaphorically rise above their personal ideations of what is considered "impossible". Suspended from the ceiling on a steel crescent moon-shaped hoop, students will be introduced to a sample selection of level-appropriate poses, transitions, drops, and / or spins from our weekly Mixed Aerial Dance class. Current lyra students will also be given the opportunity to free flow and experiment with traditional movements. Open to those with all levels of aerial dance experience!

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation within two hours of scheduled appointment/class can be charged, and any partial/full refund is at the discretion of Silk & Steel LLC. Silk & Steel LLC and its instructors reserve the right to manage class attendance and/or end a class before the scheduled time while upholding the studio safety rules and behavior expectations. Belligerent, threatening, abusive, unsafe or similar behavior or language will not be tolerated. Thank you!
